As part of our Fitness memberships, our members have been enjoying complimentary fitness classes as part of their package for the past few years. We are always keen to hear feedback from class participants on what they enjoy, and also what new classes are up and coming that they’d like to try out.
In the past few months, we have added ZumBhangra and Tai Chi to our ever-expanding list of fitness classes, and these in particular have proven to be very popular!
Kim Smith, our Health & Fitness Manager tells us, “Tai Chi started only a few months ago as the result of suggestions from members, and it’s already proven to be really popular with both men and women in our Club. Members love that it’s a fresh mix of non-contact and low-impact so even our older members are encouraged to join in. It’s great for any age and the atmosphere in the room during the class is electric!”
We encourage everyone to have a go at our classes to see which ones fit their schedule, fitness level and tastes.
Diane Brindley, who is our Tai Chi teacher, has been qualified for sixteen years and offers a wealth of knowledge on postural stability too, great if you’re suffering with back or shoulder problems.
Nisha Sharma, who is our ZumBhangra teacher, offers this unique mix of Zumba and Bhangra using low impact movements in a group class. It’s high energy and is attended by both men and women of all ages.
