Today we took delivery of our brand new wheelchair-friendly boat here at Patshull Park Fishery thanks to Terry Moseley and his team from the British Disabled Angling Association.
This boat has been designed specifically by the BDAA to replace our existing wheely boat that has serviced wheelchair users on the Great Lake for a number of years.
The boat is equipped with a hands free electric engine and two electronically operated winches for anchors and a custom ramp to improve user friendliness!
This boat is the future of disabled boat angling and it’s a pleasure to be working with the British Disabled Angling Association and Landing Craft UK to improve Angling opportunities for less able anglers!
Whilst out on its maiden voyage Terry Moseley, President of the British Disabled Angling Association christened the new boat with a few cracking rainbows as seen in the video below.
